Self Esteem Workshop Series
4 part series designed to give your self-confidence a boost and help you feel empowered to make better choices. Offered several times per year.
Growing Up and Liking It for Girls
Workshop on puberty promoting parent-child communication is offered for mothers & daughters (ages 9-12). This two-hour discussion is meant to explain the changes our bodies go through in a non-embarrasing way. Taught by Dr. Amanda Tapler, this is one of our most popular programs.
Groups and Clubs for Our Members
A WRC members’ group that meets monthly to discuss books selected by participants. A great selection of books and varying genres keeps the discussions interesting and fun. View a list of the books read by our BookWomen group.
Join us on hikes in beautiful areas in and outside Alamance County. Our hiking trips have taken us to Pilot Mountain, Eno River State Park and Lake Michael, to name a few.
