  • September 2017 WWW – Rachel Parker & Bria Miller

    Women’s Resource Center is excited to welcome Rachel Parker and Bria Miller.  Rachel and Bria both work in the arena of Human and Sex Trafficking.  Rachel is Program Manager for World Relief in High Point and Bria is a Victim Advocate and Youth Services Director with Alamance For Freedom.  Let’s learn how we can help end the cycle of suffering and help build sustainable communities.  For more info or to register, click here.

  • August 2017 WWW – Kathy Hykes, 2016 Founders Award Winner

    Working Women’s  Wednesday is kicking off our 2017 – 2018 season with Kathy Hykes, our Leading the Way 2016 Founders Award Winner!  Kathy has a long history of service in Alamance County.  She serves on the Burlington City Council and has also served on the Burlington City Board of Education.  Kathy is a compassionate leader who cares deeply for her community.  Join us as Brooke Barnett Ph.D. from Elon leads the discussion as our moderator.  We look forward to seeing you there!  Click here to register!

  • March WWW – India Cain

    Join us for networking, lunch and an awesome guest speaker.   • February WWW Speaker – Cynthia D. Fair LCSW, Dr.P.H.

    Join us in February as we learn about the unique challenges of being born HIV positive.  Cynthia Fair is a professor at Elon University and she is the coordinator of Public Health Studies.  Her talk will chronicle the transition of perinatally-acquired HIV in the United States from a disease of certain death to a chronic illness.  Our event will be at the Village at Brookwood and we look forward to seeing you there.
