Award Recipients for the eighth annual Founders’ and Rising Star Awards have been announced by the Women’s Resource Center in Alamance County.
The Annual Women’s Leadership Awards were presented to the 2021 Cohort of Community Leaders at the Virtual Leading the Way, an event honoring outstanding women in Alamance County on Nov. 4.
Founders’ Awards were presented to Lisa Edwards, Sonya McCook, Jennifer Mock, and Nikki Ratliff. The criteria for this award is to recognize female leaders who demonstrate the characteristics of the WRC’s founding members by contribution in the areas of philanthropy, community development, and mentoring.
Rising Star Awards are presented to nominees under the age of 40. These were presented to Shereá Burnett, Susana Goldman, Jessica Johnson, Kristen Powers, and Skye Sullivan.
