Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2-4 years experience in marketing or nonprofit environment

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Professional demeanor

  • Competence in oral, written & interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Publisher, Social Media, WordPress website maintenance & Constant Contact
  • Preferred experience in CRM database management; DonorSnap a plus.
  • Event Planning experience helpful

 

Specific Job Responsibilities

 

Membership   (Time estimate 40%)

  • Responsible for membership records with minimum 95% accuracy through:
  • Daily processing new/renewed memberships in CRM database & updating of Constant Contact database
  • Weekly Mailing Thank you letters to members and other donors
  • Mailing membership renewal letters by 15th of month prior to expiration
  • Managing & coordinating membership registration opportunities at all Women’s Resource Center in Alamance County (WRCAC) events
  • Providing membership committee with updated roster of members by 1st of each month
  • Providing membership committee with membership lapse listing by 1st of each month
  • Assist membership committee as needed in support of membership drive

 

Marketing and Social Media  (Time estimate 55%)

  • Promote the WRCAC and its events through the use of
  • Website
  • Social media
  • Print media
  • Community resource partners and outlets
  • Monthly, prepare print flyer for use in Chamber of Commerce mailing according to Chamber deadlines using Publisher Program in Microsoft
  • Work with Executive Director (ED) & Board Event Committees to plan, coordinate, manage and promote WRCAC events
    • Responsible for managing attendance reservations through Constant Contact for WRCAC events
    • Responsible for coordinating logistics of monthly Working Women’s Wednesday (WWW) events with Alamance Country Club including:
      • Communicating # attendees and special needs menu choices
      • Preparation of print event program, name tags and place cards for head table
    • Responsible for accounting of WRCAC funds through sales of tickets, membership or raffle items at WWW events
  • Work with ED to develop an annual plan to increase the WRCAC presence in the community and state through collaboration with other agencies
  • Promote WRC workshops & programs throughout community through print and media
  • Assist with all WRCAC fundraising events through marketing, networking and relationship building
  • Assist Publicity Committee in coordination, editing and distribution of online newsletter
  • Develop the WRCAC brand through the sale and use of merchandise when available
