Founded in 1991, the Women’s Resource Center is the only organization of its kind in Alamance County, serving women with over 375 members and volunteers.
The Women’s Resource Center’s mission is simple. We are dedicated to helping women and their families improve and enrich their lives. We strive to provide programs and services to meet many of the diverse needs of women.

Alamance County’s Outstanding Women Leaders of 2017.
We are now accepting nominations for our
Founders’ Award and Rising Star Award.
Both of these awards will be given to the female leader who demonstrates the characteristics of our founding members by providing outstanding contributions in the areas of philanthropy,
community development and mentoring.
The Rising Star Award will be given to the most
deserving nominee under the age of 40.
